Kids of the Uniting Church in Australia (KUCA) is run specifically to cater for Primary School age children (kindergarten age to 12 years old).

Sessions are held every Sunday morning during the school year (KUCA breaks only once a year during the Summer holidays).

Our sessions run at the same time as the church service (9.30am – 10.30am). The children start off inside the church with their parents/guardians where they participate in the regular service for about 30 minutes. After this we go into the church hall where we explore one of the days bible readings in a child friendly way. Often this involves a hands on approach such as using cooking, craft activities and games.

At the end of the year we begin rehearsing for the KUCA Christmas service, a service run totally by the children for the congregation – this is usually a highlight for all involved.

Parents of nervous or very young children are always welcome and we encourage you to join us in the KUCA area to support your child/children during the mornings activities.

Please note all of our adult KUCA leaders are required to hold a current Working With Children Card.
